Remember these trees?

.
Today I would like you to focus on the pear trees behind the holly tree, out by the street.
Aren't those red leaves pretty.
They won't last, winter is coming soon.

now this!

.Notice Adi, she is treading softly.
"What is this world coming to?"
.
Hint, today is the first day of winter!

and this too!

.Those are the 'leaves' off, literally off, our cypress tree in the front yard.

Adi will check them out for us.

A Christmas Tree for the Shoppers

. Those meters at our Market Square are for charity. A ticket on your window suggests you put in a quarter before you leave. They will take all your change if you like.  Posted by Picasa

Continuing on around with the Conroe Regional Medical Center nice Christmas tree exhibit

These have all been posted. Some are up here, others are at the bottom. You will see. My next trees will be some I have 'captured' in my travels. . If you want your tree here e-mail me a picture (jhovendic[at]yahoo[dot]com). If it's already on your blog just tell me where in a comment and I will go get it. Thanks.

#046 Not really a tree

.
But if she was one I would name her 'Traveler' or 'Martha.'

'Traveler' because she likes to travel, but not 'Martha' for Martha Stewart (she likes her) but for the helpful 'Martha' of the Biblical 'Martha and Mary' who followed Jesus around.

Mary listened to Jesus while Martha was always helping and serving. (link to Martha verses)

#045 Now this one isn't in the Atrium

.
This tree may have been made by the Volunteers. There are many of these helpful souls at the hospital.

The tree sits behind their square at the entrance.

#044 A spare tree here?

. Sign says: "Have A Bling-Bling Sparkly and Bright Christmas." Maybe some joker will come put his/her sign to claim artisanship.  Posted by Picasa

#043 Pretty Babies

.
Womens and Newborns on 2 South have a viewing window for us to see the little ones. One night there were about seven babies. Posted by Picasa

#-42 Pretty Purple -- Puppie Dogs Too

.
But I'm having trouble making out their sign too. It looks like Nurse Supvr and Nurse Admin. Do you think these people have talent to make a tree to match themselves like this one? Posted by Picasa

#041 Imaging, Hmmm?

.
That's XRay, MRI, CT Scans, and the like isn't it? There are some unusual decorations on this tree. Posted by Picasa

#040 These people cared for Mema

.
That's IMU, 3 North and 3 South. These people keep busy but I see they had a little time to decorate their tree.

They send patient vitals down to the IMU on second via telemetry.

#039 What this?

.
Does HBO now warrant a place in the Hospital hierarchy? Picking movies for the TV? At least they do a pretty tree! Posted by Picasa

#038 Here's a nice one with two groups working together

. That would be Accounting and IT. I always wondered why IT students needed to take accounting classes. Now I know, it is so they can work together decorating a Christmas tree. Posted by Picasa

#037 Vertical theme here

.
But I don't know what this sign says, it starts with OB and one more question mark letter. They made it look pretty even if we can't read the sign to give them credit. Posted by Picasa

#036 Pretty 'n pink again

.
1 South figured out how to come up with this pink looking tree. I think it's female also. Posted by Picasa

#035 A peaceful tree, I think it's female

.
Now with that, I still don't know what EVS on the sign depicts. But they did a nice job, making it look simple to design like this. Posted by Picasa

#034 This one might get my vote but I can't figure out a motif?

Posted by Picasa
Those ER people, we never can figure them out. Just like Jim tries to be.
.
It appears they have made a character but I can't figure out who?

#033 Incognito here

.
I must have been more interested in the big sign than I was making sure the tree tag got into the picture.
.
Just a little bragging by them, but it a pretty nice place to be when you need it most.

#032 I almost live here, in a differnt hopsital

.
That's the Cath Lab and IR. You see I watch my dye and stents on TV at St. Lukes in the Houston Medical Center real-time.
.
It's interesting to see your circulation stuff inside you--on TV--while their messing with it).

#031 These people keep the roof on, the floor clean, the light burning, etc.

. Posted by Picasa
No, not Superman, but Plant Opps!

#030 This is behind the ER and Admin offices? I've never been there.

.
Well, it says "1 North."
 Posted by Picasa

#028 I'll pick Education!

.
Education, Quality, and Risk. What else can I say?  Posted by Picasa

#027 Did your Momma say you could wear both green and blue?

. Posted by Picasa
Well, those Marketing people (MKG) sure make it alright (grammer error here, see http://wsu.edu/~brians/errors/alright.html)?

#026 Hard working people here

.
That's the Cardiac Rehab people. They make you puff and puff because they push you to new limits with keeping in mind those new arteries flowing good. Posted by Picasa

#025 Going on to the east end of the atrium, ...

.
Sign says Admin/HR, then Med Staff. I don't know how those two fit together unless the HR people don't write themselves big enough checks and the Med Staff had to chip in on this tree?
